Dakota Games 2019 - Overview
The Dakota Games brings thousands of athletes, volunteers and spectators from around the region together for a weekend of high energy competition and a legendary display of fitness in Fargo, ND.
The on-site Dakota Games will be September 20-22.
2019 will mark the 6th Annual Dakota Games with new divisions, a new qualifier format, and a new venue.

All athletes are required to complete the online qualifier in order to compete at the on-site Dakota Games. Athletes that wish to compete in a team division must also register as a team in the online qualifier.
The online qualifier is June 20 - July 8.
Individual qualifier registration opens May 7, closes July 1.
Team qualifier registration opens June 11, closes July 1.
All workouts will be released June 20.
The first set of workouts will be due July 1st.
The second set of workouts will be due July 8th.
All workouts will be performed and scored as an individual. Team rankings are based off of the combined scores on the members of the team. Superteams are allowed, and teammates do not need to be from the same gym.
Individual Qualifier Divisions and Invites
Individual Qualifier Divisions are based on age. All athletes will register as an individual for the online
qualifier, even if they plan to compete on a team. Top men and women will receive an invitation to compete at Dakota Games. All Divisions will have 2 workouts options during the online qualifier: Rx and Scaled. Scaled workout scores will rank lower than Rx, but submitting a scaled score will not disqualify an athlete from earning a spot at Dakota Games.

Team Qualifier Divisions and Invites
Once an athlete is registered as an individual, they will have the option to form a team with other athletes (additional registration fee applies). Individuals may register on multiple teams, but they may only accept one invite to compete at the onsite Dakota Games. There are only 3 divisions in the online qualifier: Teams of 4 (2 men + 2 women), Open Teams of 3 (same gender), and Masters 35+ Teams of 3 (same gender). Team invitations are based on ranking:
Teams of 4
Pro Teams of 4: Ranked 1-15 get invites
Open Teams of 3
Rx Teams of 3: Ranked 1-30 get invites
Intermediate Teams of 3: Ranked 31-60 get invites
Scaled Teams of 3: Open registration for all who have completed qualifier
Masters 35+ Teams of 3
Masters 35+ Teams of 3: Ranked 1-15 get invites
